Announcing our new baby... Once upon a Cottage

I am so excited to be posting my first blog for Once upon a Cottage! This venture has finally culminated after many years of loving to decorate and design and having a strong desire to help others do the same. For years friends and family have encouraged me to go into decorating or design business. However,I have always been hesitant to take the plunge. After many hours of prayer, research and thought, I decided to open Once upon a Cottage. My husband who has been so patient will be so glad to see that I am painting signs and making decorations for other people's homes and not our own :). Please notice the title of this Blog, "Announcing OUR New Baby....." I use the word "our" because I would not be able to do this without my wonderful husband, Matt. Please do not worry he will not be painting the signs or helping decorate your home but he will be helping fill in the gaps at our house with the children to allow me to do something I truly love!

 Initially Once upon a Cottage will be designing signs that will be for sale on Etsy and directly through this website once we get Etsy up and running. I will be posting pictures of the quotes you can choose from along with examples of work. Please stay posted and please be patient as I am a work in progress with blogging and the internet highway. Thanks to everyone that has helped me get to this point.
