Tablescaping Troubles

I have seen some very cute tablescapes in the last few weeks on blogs. I got motivated and decided that I needed to decorate a table that we just moved to a new spot. However, when I started shopping around the house I started drawing a blank and can not seem to get this tablescape just right. So for the first time ever, I am asking advice on what I could add to make this tablescape perfect! Once I get some feedback I will post after pictures and show you what I have done. I can not wait to hear what my readers think!!!

Ok, I am NOT the one to be asking for decorating advice. I have a pile of crap on my office floor that needs to be "scaped" onto the shelf above it, but I don't know how...
Anyway, I'm thinking the 4 pictures you have (which look super cool- i'm nuts for square anything) should be placed in a big square above the table (two on top, two on bottom). That would give you a little height at least. From there I have no clue! :) Look forward to what everyone else says.
By the way, that picture of you and your hubby is smokin' hot. Must have been one awesome photographer.

I was just gonna say what Alisha said about repositioning the pics. For even more height, you could do 1-2-1 vertically. But 2-2 is probably better. Then do you have a mirror you could lean against the wall (on top of the table of course).....a pretty good size one would be best....at least half the size or better of the table. And then add some color. A white vase with pretty flowers or a stack of book. You need something round though to balance out all the squares. Even a stack of plate would work! Love ya. Hope that helps some.

Those 2 gals sound like they know what they're talking about. I might add a bigger...chunkier lamp or some tall candle sconces.

I would say a fatter and warmer lamp; move the pictures into a box - 2 above and 2 below; add some texture like flowers or foliage; add a colorful runner to the table; add some books underneath your fleur de lis; OK, that's all I got.
